Friday's Fab Fortunes {9.8.17}
It's Friday and you know what that means!!! Here are this week's top five WHOAments for which I am grateful! Enjoy!
"giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ," ~ Ephesians 5:20 (NKJV)
Heat Wave and Slushes!!
You know I love the heat and this week was explosive! It was H-O-T. I mean BLAZIN' HOT. However, there is a such thing as "too much of a good thing" and as much as I loved the warmer weather, it was nice to cool down with our late night family trips to Sonic for slushes. #SonicSoothedUs
New Walking Trails!!
This week, I am thankful that our new home came with new walking trails. Now, I am able to enjoy hills, hills and more hills and breathtaking views while walking. (I also saw deer and chameleons along my route.) #HappyTrails
I Have Baby Fever!!
Ok, not really. But this week, I celebrated a dear friend's baby shower. Babies are a gift from God -- especially someone else's baby and I enjoyed spending time and celebrating with her. #BabyFever
The Girls Like School!!
Both Jazmyn and Kayla were a little nervous about starting new schools this fall. Jazmyn wasn't sure how she'd like high school and Kayla wasn't sure she'd make friends at her new school. I am proud to announce that both girls have adjusted well to their new surroundings and classmates. In fact, Kayla came home and reported that she "made four new friends on the first day -- all before lunch!" #SchoolDaze
A Centennial Celebration!!
This week, we celebrated what would have been my grandmother's 100th birthday. Golden "Mutha" Jacobs was my mom's mother and a beautiful soul. She passed away 21 years ago, but her memory still lives on and I know she would have loved LT and the girls. #CelebratingMutha
Selah!
